About Northwest Artisan Windows

A Better Window Company, Built Locally.

Northwest Artisan Windows was built around a straightforward idea: give homeowners strong product choices, fair local pricing, honest guidance, and a team that stands behind the work.

Built Around the Homeowner Better options. Less pressure.

A local team focused on helping homeowners make informed decisions without the traditional high-pressure sales experience.

Meet Andrew

“This Doesn't Need to Be This Hard.”

Andrew didn't start Northwest Artisan Windows because he woke up one morning and thought, “You know what Spokane really needs? Another window company.”

He spent years inside the industry first. He started as an office recruiter, worked his way into management, and eventually became a Washington Regional Manager for another window company. That meant seeing the business from pretty much every angle — hiring, sales, operations, customer experience, and what actually happens after somebody signs the paperwork.

And the higher he moved up, the more one thought kept coming back: this really doesn't need to be this hard. Homeowners shouldn't have to sit through a marathon sales pitch, chase five people for an answer, or call a corporate number just to leave a voicemail and hope somebody eventually passes it to the person who can actually help.

The funny part was, Andrew wasn't the only one saying it. He kept hearing the same frustrations from people working at other large window companies too. People inside the industry knew the process had become way more complicated, corporate, and frustrating than it needed to be.

So NWAW was built around doing the obvious things better: give homeowners real product options, explain things clearly, answer the phone, install the windows correctly, and still be around when the project is over. Revolutionary stuff, apparently.

Today, NWAW works with multiple manufacturers instead of forcing every homeowner into one product line. The team focuses on inspecting the home, understanding what actually needs attention, and helping homeowners choose the right window for the house — not simply the most expensive one someone can sell.

“I kept thinking: this doesn't need to be this hard. So we built the company we wished homeowners could already call.”

Not the whole team. Not even close. These are just a few of the people responsible for keeping the wheels on, the standards high, and the rest of us pointed in roughly the same direction.

Ashawn, Project Manager at Northwest Artisan Windows Project Manager

Ashawn

Project Manager | Numbers Guy

He's the guy making sure every project moves exactly the way it should. From final measurements and ordering to scheduling, installation, Avista rebate paperwork, and the finishing details, he keeps every piece coordinated from start to finish.

Detail-oriented, organized, and constantly thinking a few steps ahead, Ashawn has a talent for making a process with a lot of moving parts feel remarkably simple.

He keeps the projects on track, the details accounted for, and the rest of us operating somewhere between “exact” and “measure it again.”

We tried to get him to stop working long enough for a proper headshot. This was as close as we got.

Kate, Sales Manager at Northwest Artisan Windows Sales Manager

Kate

Sales Manager | People Person

Kate has a way of making people feel comfortable from the minute she meets them. She leads our sales team with a focus on knowing our products inside and out, communicating clearly, and making sure homeowners actually understand their options.

She's thoughtful, organized, and genuinely good at reading the room — whether she's helping a customer figure out what makes sense for their home or keeping our team on the same page.

Around the office, Kate is usually the person everyone ends up asking anyway. We figured we might as well make it official.

No Pressure. Just Data.

Before We Recommend a Window, We Figure Out What’s Actually Wrong.

Homeowners need better information, not another two-hour presentation about why somebody’s window company is “the best.” We’d rather show you what’s happening with the house, what your options are, and let you make an informed decision.

Built by Andrew

Think of It Like a Check Engine Light for Your Home.

Andrew built the CheckMyHome system because window replacement should start with understanding the problem — not with somebody deciding what they want to sell you before they even walk through the front door.

During the appointment, we document each window and build a full-home report showing what we see at every opening. The report can show existing issues, how serious they appear to be, and the potential cost of waiting — the additional repairs or problems that may develop around the home when a failing window is left unaddressed.

The Easy Way to Think About It Ignore the oil light long enough and eventually you have a much bigger problem.

Homes work the same way. Knowing what’s starting to fail gives you the chance to deal with the actual problem before it potentially turns into a larger repair.

And if there isn’t a problem? The report says that too. We’re not interested in inventing a reason to replace a perfectly good window. The goal is to make sure you’re neither under-sold nor over-sold — just informed.

That’s the entire philosophy behind the appointment: no high-pressure sales pitch, no “trust us because we said so.” Just the data, the options, and what actually makes sense for the home.

See What We See

Your Windows, Explained.

The report gives you a window-by-window view of the home so you can understand what’s happening before talking about what — if anything — should be replaced.

  • Problems documented window by window
  • See how serious an issue may be
  • Understand the potential cost of waiting
  • If nothing is wrong, it tells you that too
01 One Manufacturer Usually Means One Answer.

If a company only sells one manufacturer, every problem starts looking suspiciously like a job for that manufacturer. NWAW works with Sierra Pacific, Alside, and CDA Windows so we can actually compare solutions.

02 We Pick What Makes Sense.

The right answer depends on your budget, the actual condition of the home, how long you plan to stay, the performance you want, the look you want, and what you’re trying to accomplish with the project. We give you options instead of pretending one answer fits everybody.

03 Reputation Is Earned One Project at a Time.

In a local community like Spokane, you don’t get to disappear behind a corporate phone tree when something goes wrong. Our name is attached to the project before, during, and after installation.

About Northwest Artisan Windows

Straight Answers. No Sales Games.

What Spokane homeowners should know about who we are, how we work, and what makes a Northwest Artisan project different.

We're a local Spokane company built around craftsmanship, transparency, and doing the project correctly the first time. Instead of pushing one window or using a one-size-fits-all sales pitch, we help you compare the options that actually fit your home, priorities, and budget. Our goal is to give you the information to make the right decision without the high-pressure sales experience.

We offer multiple window systems from Alside, CDA Windows, and Sierra Pacific so you're not locked into a single manufacturer. That gives us options ranging from high-performance vinyl and triple-pane systems to premium hybrid windows with real wood interiors. We'll walk you through the differences in efficiency, appearance, materials, warranty, and cost before you choose.

Northwest Artisan manages the project from the initial inspection and final measurements through installation and walkthrough. Windows are measured precisely, built to order, properly fitted, sealed around the full perimeter, adjusted, and inspected before the project is considered complete. Most projects are completed in about 2–3 days, with our crews typically installing 8–12 windows per day while maintaining craftsman-level workmanship.

Yes. $0-down financing with low monthly payment options is available for qualifying homeowners, with financing available up to $100,000. When a project and selected products qualify for an applicable Avista rebate, we also help coordinate the rebate process and paperwork. Available rebates, financing programs, approval requirements, and terms can change, so we'll show you the current options alongside your project proposal.

Warranty coverage varies by the manufacturer and window system you choose. Depending on the product, coverage may include the window frame, insulated glass, seal failure, hardware, and other components, with select lines offering lifetime limited or transferable coverage. We review the exact warranty that applies to your selected windows before anything is ordered, so you know precisely what is covered.
